Places to take an unwanted rooster

I have an unwanted rooster but I can't find a place to take him, but don't want to kill him myself. Dose anyone know of a place.

Agreed. Before I began to process my own that is what I did. I ended up getting the same man respond each time. It is a great place to troll if you are having a hard time feeding your family. It ended up making me feel good about having to get rid of my roos since I was feeding a family who otherwise would have gone hungry.

It is all about perspective.

The only problem is if I put him on Craig's list he could be for cock fighting.

To be blunt, the chance of that is slim to none, underground cock fighters are not interested in dual purpose generic rooster breeds...

Craigslist is a great option. There is an ad in my local Craigslist; someone taking all unwanted poultry. You may not even need to place an ad at all if someone close is looking for freebies

Unwanted roosters are very difficult to find homes for. If you offer him for free someone will probably take him but, it could be for their dinner. If you don't mind that, just don't ask.

Maybe you should say where you live and offer to give him away here on BYC, then maybe someone near you will volunteer to take him.
