polish chickens - sex question

I have 2 polish chickens, same age - they are both really long-legged but their tophats are very different (one is droopy and one sticks straight up). Are both of them males?

I am going to say, definately male.

do the females get the tophat too? The one male with the droopy feathers has been crowing a lot...but not the other one. However, the other one appears to have what I'm guessing are spurs. Are the less dominant ones just less flamboyant or something?

Both have the same general effect. Dread-locked. Hens look MUCH different, with poofs. 100% male for both of them. They're very handsome.

Hens seem to have nice poofs, that look like they have been blow dried.

the females do have nice poofs - and thanks for the links - another questions: is this a polish? Or a mottled houdan? I figured it was a mottled houdan roo (I ordered mottled houdan and polish hens but got a bunch of extra (roo) chickens with the order) but looking through the links it looks exactly like a white crested black polish rooster...
