The chick cannot stand up on its own. I’m not sure if it’s a slipped tendon or not. I braced the leg and tried to get it to eat but it won’t. It was an assisted hatch also.

My uncle had a chicken that was an assisted hatch who couldn’t stand (we think it was spraddle leg) He braced it with a rubber band and a straw. The chick proceeded to live a long life as the rooster of a flock.
I hope this helps
Do you have a picture, or video of the chick?
About 2 daysHow long has it been since hatch?
They where both out to the sidesThis does help thank you. Do you know if it’s leg was splayed out back wards or to the side?
