Here is our latest round of chicken additions to the mix. 2 rhode island reds that had to replace our california white that was killed by older birds or smashed to death not sure which but weve learned to buy them in pairs at least.

Hi thought you might be interested in my young Japanese bantam chicken with her 6 chicks, 4 hens, 2 cockerels and their dad. He has been a protective dad too and is now helping her keep them warm roosting in our polytunnel. She would take them into the hut with the others. So we've let them do their own thing. Cute eh?

White PR, 2 Australorps, 3 Silver Cuckoo Marans (I believe),2 RIR, and a Buckeye..........one of the Marans could be a BPR, we lost one the first week and they all looked very similar.
