he's a mid gradeer!! LOL
They are a little smaller than most standards, but a good bit bigger than he appears, but he's a lot bigger boned especially looking at his legs, than bantam size.
and yep, I guess the jury is still out on the white x gold duck wing crosses, your has a much more duckwing look than any I have kept back, all mine are looking that mealy gray color Chris posted. He's a looker though!!

I'm not sure if I should post these here, but I first mentioned them on this thread. Back in Feb I incubated some Silver Spangled Hamburg/Gold Duckwing Phoenix eggs. The chicks are now 8wks old. Here are some pics:

I'm really interested to see how they turn out. They are flighty but friendly, and in my opinion, very pretty.

I finally got around to taking some new pictures today. Boy can these phoenixes fly! Especially when compared to their cochin bantam hatch-mates.

They're so much fun to watch, pretty too!

That is so weird, that is a golden right?
mine is lighter than that.

Yes, he is a Golden Duckwing, but I got him from MPC, so he is hatchery quality. He has a great personality and will perch on my shoulder. That is the only reason why I still have him.
