I built a new brooder for all my chicks sense they'll all be One Month on the 16th.
Their old brooders were getting to small and i wanted to separate the RiRs and the
Leghorns. The far Left and Right brooder are 28 inches wide and 3 feet long.
Middle brooder is 30 inches wide and 3 feet long. Temp. water bowl for RiRs,
until i go to TSC tomorrow. Chicks love it and i do to :)

We are not sure if this is a white leghorn? Any thoughts? Pullet? 13 weeks old...
At 13 weeks, yes, I think that pullet is a good guess.

And yes, she looks like a leghorn, she:

-is nice and streamlined
-has bright yellow legs
-has white earlobes
-is bright white (yes, they come in lots of colors, but white is most common)
-her single comb is already getting a good size (and yes, they also come in rose comb, but single is much more common)

I think I ended up with an Exchequer Leghorn and, having never had leghorns, I thought the large comb and long tail feathers meant I had a cockerel. However, I've been googling pics and think this may be a hen after all!! Can anyone more familiar with Leghorns positively sex him/her for me? Age is approx 23-24 weeks. I will be so stoked if this is a hen!
23 weeks....clearly a female. :D No saddle feathers, or hackle feathers. Very pretty girl, also look at her very feminine face.
