Post Pics of your Leghorns

Here are four brown leghorns I purchased. They are about 4 1/2 weeks. Any guesses on sex? And why is one so golden? They all started out basically the same. Why does one bird(the golden) have white legs?

Hi , Lisa. I really like that pool idea. And its a cute picture too. I live on a hill of clay. The clay will breakdown and make good baths , but once wet it takes a while to breakdown again. You will have to show this picture to all of those folks that have a similar problem, or limited space. J.D.

Hi chickita. As long as I keep about 5 hens and a rooster together in the winter , they keep themselves warm. They even eat snow.
