What colours in Leghorns do people here keep? I have whites, browns and silver duckwing. I hope to collect a trio of exchequer at the weekend. I also hope to get lavender and crele this year.

very hard to tell their quality but i would say the second bird because the first bird has an over done head, short back and short neck. The second bird has a more proportionate head longer neck longer back and easier transtion to the tail but they are both finishing a molt and not in a good pose/ quality photo so it is hard to tell for sure.

No that is the females. If the males combs flop it is a DQ. The males combs should be straight up.

I just got three leghorns. 2 white and a black. Will the black pullet lay white eggs just like the white pullets?

Yes, they should all lay white eggs, if they are all leghorns.

Just curious..how to keep your white leghorn clean. Mine looks so messy from the snowy wet winter. Will she clean up during the nicer days, does this require a bath? Oh that would an experience Looking for some hints..thanks
