I got some pics of the red leghorn to!

Some of those girls have such nice bright red combs.... I would think that they would be laying.




Of course now that the day length is picking up, they should start to lay.

December 21 is the winter solstice..shortest day of the year for everyone in the northern hemisphere.

By January you will be able to tell that the day length is getting longer...and maybe the birds will too, and that means EGGS!!
