Of those two colors I like the Millie Fleur best, but then I like warm colors with my flash!


And remember all I have in Leghornss are dark browns and white......no flash at all.

Have you noticed if any particular kind is calmer than the normal "flightiness" of leghorns? My girl has really calmed since she started laying, but is still skittish. I have a SCB (hatchery) She has done well, though

I've heard others say the isabellas and the mille fleurs are calmer but my experience has been they are all pretty much the same. Some are less flighty then others but its an individual bird thing not a color thing.
Im sure there may be differences in some lines vs others but again to me it would be the line not just because its a certain color. I would think how they were raised would have the most to do with it. As a breed by nature they are flighty. Thats one of the major reasons I prefer them.
