Are there any Leghorn breeders up North that will have eggs or chicks?

Hello, the blk specs out of the legs of your "leghorns". I think your pullets are Ancona and that is wy they have blk specs out of the legs.
For Exchequer they are to black of colour. Ancona's like a lot at the Leghorns. Look for Ancona at Google maybe you find some good pictures that complane my answer. I hope I use the right words. ;-) For Exchequer you can take a look at the site www.leghorn.nl

Nope got from a breeder and saw the parents. Just 2 have just a very small amount like 4 the roo and 1 pullet has none. I've been told it is a throw back to when they where first crossed to get the Exchequer color. Thanks though as I ran that line before. I know most cull the ones with the spots then I read in 2 diff. places you can breed it out with a black hen. So I was going to try that. Thanks!

Would you like to send me some eggs, chicks?

I think they may have to much of one and need a lot more of the other. She does have some with alot more wht. I just did not get a chick with more wht.

I didn't know Leghorns came in black. Very pretty. Here is my girl, sitting on some Ameraucana and Blue Plymouth Rock eggs. I love those Exchequer Leghorns, and one of these days I've got to get some. Maybe the next time she goes broody someone can send some my way. Sunshine is looking at the eggs right after I put her on them thinking, "why are these BLUE?" She is on day 5.
