My husband's uncle surprised me today with 6 Australorps chicks! My little boy and me were thrilled but I had to scramble to put together a temporary brooder! What a great May 1st!
I received my first ever batch of chickens from Meyer Hatchery a few weeks ago. All chicks arrived alive and healthy. I need to take this week's baby pictures, but I will post what I got. The first photo is when they were just a few days old. The next photo is when they were almost 3 weeks old!
Betty (Australorp) my sweet girl has crooked toes!
Lucy (Rhode Island Red)
No Lucy is complete without her, Ethel (Partridge Rock)
Penny (Black Copper Maran)
Sansa (Blue Laced Red Wyandotte) Her feathers are starting to turn blue now.
