Here are a few pics of my A-frame, I have detachable wheels for it also.
This is the first coop I have built, overall I have been very happy with it.

A00BlasterResto hasn't posted anything since Jan 2012.A00BlasterResto What are the dimensions of the coop part? How many feet of roost space is there?
Let me tackle this question for you. OOblaster has been inactive for a long time, so not likely to respond.A00BlasterResto What are the dimensions of the coop part? How many feet of roost space is there?
Glad to help. I understand all that you are trying to do, to keep your chickens comfortable, and cool. Consider joining the AZ thread. I hang out there as well, even though I live in Chicago Metro. Am considered a long distance friend there. ,, Many knowledgeable peeps there, and many in Phoenix area, or close.@cavemanrich
Wow, thank you for that above-and-beyond answer! I am toying with the idea of making a small "day coop" my 13 girls can go in and out of during the day. I wanted to insulate, put a box fan (with dripping water to an aspen pad behind it) on one end and a small fan on the other. The Temps are 115 here in Phoenix and it would be nice not to have to check on them so frequently during the day. I have shade and misters, but I know they would love a cooled space.
this is the coop my hubby built for me and our 5 chickens. He trenched 18 inches down and buried the coop and hardware cloth to keep predators from digging in. We call Chicken Alcatraz! HahahahI need some ideas on how to design my chicken coop so can you post your coop pictures? if you do Ito you!
