Congrats!! To stop from pecking eggs. Place golf balls in their laying areas to stop that behavior. It worked well for ours. Good luck!!Got our very first eggs 2 days ago. One in the nesting box and one outside on the ground in their run. I have 4 barred rock and 4 rhode island red, they are just 17 weeks old. Don't know who laid them. They laid one outside today and it rolled off and broke. They were all eating it (gross) now I am worried that they will peck the eggs in the nesting boxes. Any suggestions?
