Shown with two Egglands Best eggs. I posted this on the Olive Egger thread a couple of weeks ago. She's missed only 2 days since. IT took FOREVER!!! I may have been misinformed about their age or else it was 26-28 weeks old.

Our first Egg! and it's fertile!!!! I'm guessing it's from one of our Gold Sexlinks, her comb seems redder today and our rooster has (as far as I've seen) only mated with her.

First egg EVER ( New parents) Friday August 28th 2015 from our Red Ranger, not sure of age we were told mid June they were 4 1/2 months old but we don't think it was correct. That would make her 6 months old and she only got comb and waddles 3 weeks ago

Our flock just turned 21 weeks today, and our Australorp Blackberry decided to leave me a present! Hubby found it first, and I had to make a special trip home for lunch to see it and and do the egg dance!!

I'm just so amazed by this miracle, it's so pretty and it was still warm. All I can say is wow!

After months of tractor supply hen eggs (golden commet) this is our first OLIVE EGG!!!! we've been waiting SO LONG!!!! Wait till our first crested cream legbar egg shows up! We'll cry!
