Good to know with the feed. Should I keep him in the separate pasture or would it matter since the hens were around him this morning? Thankfully the breathing sounds normal now and he hasn’t coughed/sneezed since. He’s just standing by the gate looking longingly over.He doesn’t look or sound too bad. I have always feed my rooster with my hens layer feed, and sometimes used all flock/flock raiser feed as well with no problems. Chick starter/grower is okay, but make sure the hens have access to crushed oyster shell for extra calcium/egg shells. The poop looks fairly normal, and they can vary from time to time. I would just keep an eye on him.
