I have a Prairie Bluebell Rooster I got about a week ago. I don't have him paired with any hens at the moment. I read that it's a 50/50 if they have beards. He does not have a beard. Would any of his kids have a beard? Like if I crossed him to say, a Rhode Island Red? Would there still be like a 10% chance for a bearded chick? Or would I be better off breeding him to an Easter egger with a beard? I don't mind the low percentage for one. I just want to know if there is a chance for a bearded chick. Thanks so much for reading, and sorry for the long read.

I breed a silver lace Wyandotte rooster with a bearded EE and out of 6 chicks only 2 had beards and both of those were males
