Can someone please tell me if my duckling is a cayuga duck? My daughter hatched it in school we believe its a female0

This is one of my favorite pics. As of this picture last year none of my ducks had names because they all looked exactly like that. This is about 3.5 to 4 months old I think.

Can someone please tell me if i can use soft pine wood shavings like for guinea pigs and rabbits in her cage for the bedding? I have been using cardboard i need to know whats best for her bedding thank you ,
