Hi all - I bought two chicks for my broody hen - both Easter Eggers. They were sold as pullets but at only 4 days old I am noticing a difference in their wings. Any chance one is a rooster? I can’t have them in my township so I’m a little worried. Thanks!

It's a bit too early to tell, but post some new pics in a few weeks when they are old enough to sex!

Wing sexing has to be specifically bred for, it doesn't work on most chicks.

Ok, hoping they are pullets then! I imagine with EEs there’s so much variation that they could just grow differently. I’ll post more pictures in a few weeks! Thanks!

Not sure if these two are old enough to make predictions yet but they are now 3 weeks old. The yellow/black one likes to sit on top of mom. Worried she’s a he.

Ok so I know it’s only been a week but these two are really changing. I bought them both as Easter Eggers but the black and white one looks like something else. Any chance she could still be a pullet?

Sorry, he looks like a cockerel. I would still keep an eye on him though.
