No, it's a rare, old, and beautiful breed of American true bantam. They were kept and bred by Nathaniel Hawthorne, but it is thought that their ancestors came from Belgium. They are very sweet and fun. Here's my best hen, between the D'Uccles.I’ve never heard of a Pyncheon, is it a type of parrot?
I'd ask for eggs on here. Mine are from Privett, but they're not very good. Privett, Welp, and Stromberg's carry them. If you were to join the SPPA, you would get a breeder's directory, and it may have a Pyncheon breeder in it, there is a picture of one on their website.We're planning to get some in a few years when we relocate. Any suggestions for where to source birds?
