My quail chicks went inside their liquidly pasty food I was planning to put small droplets of water on them because their feather aren't fluffy their dry and straight like if there were gel it doesn't look attractive what should I do?

How old are the chicks? If they are feathering out they will clean and preen their own feathers, if they are only a few days old you may could just wipe them down with a warm wet towel

But git them back in your brooder pretty quick because when they get wet it will cool them down and they will need to warm up and dry off pretty quick

Both your questions are commonsense, Dirty bird = wash it, dead lamp = replace it...

You can't get mad that people don't respond. Have patients and give it time, it had only been 20 mins since your post.
