Quail Chick Colors

Hi I wanted to know what these quail chick colors are. I think #1 is silver. I know I have 19 celadon Coturnix Quail. I know that the breeder said there we some silvers & blues. I know some of them are rossetta/Tibetan but I can't tell the difference this young. These quail hatched on Valentines day (Feb. 14th).

I also saw that I have one or more tuxedo quail.

I believe you are right on the silver. The second one looks like a rosetta or tibetan. If the feed are dark, then it's tibetan, otherwise rosetta. The third one looks like a rosetta tux.

Your dark ones look like tibetans to me.

Are tibetians noticeably darker than rossettas?

And what is SSC? Is that Silver Schofield Collection?

Yes. Tibetans are the base for the black quail that Thieving Otter sells.

SSC is Silver Schofield Collection. That's one of the reasons that the silvers have such a variety of shades.
