And also do you know why my button quail eggs turned dark? cant see a thing in them when i candle them....it is day 5 and i turn them 3 times a day . i have 3 females 2 males that i get the eggs from.

The shell itself is hard to see through, however you should still be able to see the air pocket at the top. You can't see anymore because the baby bird is growing.

it is completely dark not a thing to be seen when i used my ova scope. It is only day 7 are you sure this is normal?

Yes it's fine. Just keep them going. Just remember if something is wrong you can't help them. Just leave em be and see.
