is it ok to keep differant breeds of quail in the same cage?or should they be kept seperated. if so why thanks

You can keep some breeds together. Depends on which breeds you are talking about....some breeds are more docile or aggressive than others. It is always advised to keep an eye out for aggression when you mix breeds.

Absolutely not. Button quail are WAY too tiny to be mixed in with chickens. Chickens also carry diseases that can kill quail. Buttons need a warm environment all the time. Keep the buttons in doors away from other quail or chickens.
