question about frizzles?

When do you know if you chick is going to be a frizzle? I have a chick its mom is smooth and its dad is a frizzle. Will I know right when it gets its feathers or do I have to wait a while. It is 3 days right now

First, bumping is against BYC rules, second, it has only bee a relatively short time since you posted, and the question is a common one on the various frizzle threads. You will see the feathers curling at about a week of age if the bird inherited the frizzle gene.
