Questionable freshness

Does anyone eat eggs that are just starting to float? Sorry total newbie question, right now I am just feeding those back to the girls as scrambled.
If it's just barely floating it's usually alright. Just make sure to look at the color when you crack it and smell it.

I've had eggs that trick the water test and sometimes they seem fine, but then I crack it and it's really rotten. Use your judgement and cook safe!

Anything questionable gets hard boiled and then I smash shells and all and feed back to the birds. No waste. If they are real floaters those go into the trash cause, who wants to pick rotten egg off their walls?
