I recently acquired 12 black Brahma chicks. They have great leg feathering, and feathering down the middle toe. But as the feathers are growing in, I noticed brown feathers on two of the birds. As new chicks they were black and white, but the new feathers look like a partridge color. What colors were used to make the black brahma?
