I just ran a web using mason line on 18"+- centers across the top of the run. Fast and cheap. Lasted me until I was ready to do something different. Nothing got out and nothing went in. And I have electric fence around the run...typically 2 wires low, one 2/3 the way up. And snow load was no problem.
