Got an r com pro 20 from a buddy that hasn't used it in years. Put some chicken eggs in and everything was goin perfect til we got to lock down. The pre set humidity for the last 3 days is 65% but it wasn't getting above 48%, even tho it was filled with water. Was thinking maybe it doesn't have to be as high since it is very humid where we live but didn't wanna take any chances so I put a wet cloth in the incubator and the humidity immediately jumped up and is now sitting at 71%.

Any tips or recommendations? Will this method work as long as humidity stays up? Will 70% be too high? ( I'm sure it will drop as the cloth dries). Everything was going so good I don't wanna screw it up this late.

I'm on day 19 rite now. The first 18 days the humidity was between 40-45%. The problem was the fact that on day 18 it didn't come up to what it was pre set for.
