Rate my Rooster (Purebred Cream Legbar)

This is Noodle my Purebred Cream Legbar Cockerel.

He is lovely, calm, allows me to pick him up as I please and looks after his ladies well. Although he can be a bit daft and face a corner of a wall for a while, or call over the hens to look at some chicken poop

I was just wondering how well he adheres to the breed standard for cream legbars? As when looking at other purebred Cream Legbar cockerel photos online, he seems taller and overall different in appearance and proportions. Is he odd? I think he's very handsome, but I did hatch him myself and hand raise him from a chick (maternal bias )

As I was planning to hatch eggs from him and it would be good to know what traits I should be looking in for a Cream Legbar and whether he meets the SOP

The comb might be a little on the small side for a cream legbar roo, but overall he is beautiful! The first rooster we ever had was a cream legbar named Simon and he looked identical to this rooster.

I thought his comb looked quite small in comparison to other Roos! Is his colouration normal? Or is his feathering too light?

His coloration looks completely normal, I don't think his feathering is too light, maybe on the lighter side, but not too light.

He doesn't appear to meet the Legbar Standard. He needs more body and depth, Legbars have large rectangular bodies. I can't see the tassel crest on him. His tail has a feather with too much white (not the end of the world, but a defect.) His tail angle is a bit high and the back length is too short. Legbars should be darker too.

Beautiful roo. Thanks for sharing. For comparison, here is our boy who is a little darker with a bigger crest but is a bit small (among other faults). Shares the white feather but a lot do. Such great birds.

This is not a Cream Legbar according to SOP. He is a Golden Crele Legbar,tail high, no crest, white feathers in tail not good. Wings too low, pointing down.
