Big problem in past was the lost of many Red Breasted to west nile. The resistance is getting better, therefore now we are .

seeing more Red Breasted geese. They are around but not in large numbers.

Hatched 11/02/2012 i stay in south africa have 4 pair of rd breasted geese and have no problem in breeding them i mainly feed them mixed fowl (maize) and of course there main diete is grass

Hello Karen,
The female alone may be a bit of a challenge to find. The best is to start making phone calls to people and if they don't have one ask if they know of someone that might. I have found 2 female Ross in the past week doing this. It is time consuming but may pay off for you like it did me. I prefer to make calls until I get to know the breeders, much more personable, e-mails are to easy to ignore.
