Are you sure she is trying to lay? Is she straining on the nest? Panting? When you removed her from the nest, how did she behave both when you reached for her and when she was off?

because she lives inside her coop inside my house i know how it’ sounds but she will run away to a neighbor i do not get along with
yes she is straining a little finally layed early this morning burn set i’ll in her laying position like she’s strained

No I have 5 more including two Roos
Half my flock is segregated even tho they grew up together
Keeping my Roosters away from my layers
I am working on an outside run with mesh on top
