Rescued chick - no neck feathers

This chick was rescued from a cat by a neighbor and brought to our house. Any ideas on what it is? It looks like it has been pecked or something - the neck doesn't have any feathers. I put it in the area we have sectioned off for our chicks with food, water and small dog kennel for a hen house . Thankfully our other chicks are now old enough to be in with our older chickens. I am not sure what else to do to help it. It is walking just fine but does seem traumatized (understandably). Will the feathers grow back on its neck?

its a turken (necked neck) they dont have feathers on their necks

They're kinda freaky when you don't know they're supposed to be like that, aren't they? Check out the naked necks or turkens thread on the breeds and genetics section, they're quite the sensation!

The second pic looks like a cartoon. I love his/her little face. So cute.
