Resting chickens in Saran

Hi. My two birds are in a casserole dish in the fridge resting. I have covered them really well with Saran Wrap. Is that okay? I've read that people have bagged them. I'm going to bag them with my food saver for the freezer but just wanted to make sure that the Saran Wrap is okay for this step

As long as it is reasonably air tight, you are fine. You just don't want the chicken picking up off tastes from the refrigerator or getting dried out.

Okay thanks. I went and tucked it all around the chickens and then added more on top.
