Right. I was just referring to the area in general. I know people that actually block off the nesting boxes at night to keep the chickens out. I was considering that as well. The perch just flips up at night as a block and is a perch by day.Sounds good. Just a quick point--the roosts should be clearly higher than the nesting boxes. Birds will want to spend the night in the highest place they can get to for safety. You don't want them sleeping in the nesting boxes because they'll poo in there and then the eggs are gross.
