Rhodebar Roosters questions

I just looked it up and apparently, Rhodebars an auto-sexing breed. It says yellow chicks are male and females have dark stripes or barring down their back at a day old. If you can remember what they looked like as day olds or if you can find out, then maybe that will help you with the other chick.

The Rhodebar really interested me as I had not heard of the breed before now so I did some research. This website also says they are an autosexing breed but didn't give much more information.

Yep, those are roosters. You need to contact the breeder and see how they can make it right for you. Rhodebars are supposed to be able to be sexed at hatch. Sounds like your breeder either doesn't know how to sex them, or isn't breeding for the autosexing trait like she should be. Either way, if you paid for pullets, you need to have a talk with her.

Ty I got them from our county craiglist and I actually knew the young lady as she grew up with my kids. It is poor business management too. She will not return our emails and I think I will contact the counties craiglist management and get the word out that she isa bad breder. What else.... Its sad too hecause my grandaughters are not gonna be happy when they end up in the freezer. Well heck, I am out 3 lg brown eggs a day rtoo... ah well. €/_÷ happens..lol. BUT YOU ALL ROCK...

I'm pretty sure I have 2 Rhodebar hens, but what do the boy chicks look like??

I also hatched blue orpington eggs. So those are the lighter chicks or they could be male Rhodebar chicks??
