Ironic this aired NOW-we got a letter from the city last week saying we couldn't keep any chickens due to ordinances - which were completely incorrect - we then got a correction because it was actually a noise complaint because of my roosters and the city said if I get rid of the roosters then I keep my flock. So spent all day yesterday readying a friends barn to house my breeding flocks. Hope the neighbors don't complain after they are gone, or I'll have to get rid of everyone.

Cheryl, sorry you are being put through this. I hope your plight in the end has the effect of promoting backyard chickens. I'd say this segment might go a long way toward that end. It was no BYC ad, true, but BYC isn't hard to find, and the mention of the Dummies book was certainly a plus.

Lovely Segment and very positive about treating chickens like pets (i.e., being humane and caring). It's too bad they didn't mention BYC specifically, but nonetheless it was a lovely segment! Congrats!!
