Run size help for brahma

I need help with designing a run. I have 6 assorted brown egg layer chicks & 6 assorted brahma chicks. I know brahma are bigger so it is important to me that I build a run large enough for everyone to share comfortably. I will not be allowing them to free range due to too many predators in our area. We are using a 10 x 14 shed as a coop, should I use it all or can I use a smaller area like 10x7?

You can certainly partition the shed into partial coop and partial storage area but 8x8 is not practical with a 10x14 shed. I would cut it in half and make 10x7 storage area and 10x7 coop.
What I did was bump out my nest boxes into the storage area then I used the top of the boxes for a shelf.
I would make the run 10x14 for lumber efficiency reasons.
