Saxony sexing

Hello everyone!

So i ordered 10 saxony duck eggs from a hatchery in hamilton that specializes in rare breeds of ducks and chickens, only 3 hatched and i think they are males

They are about 12 weeks old now and to me they look female, But they still peep, iam getting worried but i read somewhere that saxony females take longer to quack than other breeds?

If anyone has experience ide love the help

I have attached 2 photos of my female Saxony at 14 weeks for comparison. I hope it can help you. (You May have to zoom in to see clearer)




I think all of them may be male. I feel like their breasts are super dark & their heads have a blue/silver sheen starting to come it. That coupled with the fact that you say they are still peeping leans me towards Drakes.

My Saxony was a little later to quack but if I remember correctly she was quacking by 12 weeks.

What rotten luck! I’d wait a couple more weeks to be sure. Hopefully drake feathers will start coming or more raspy peeps will start so your 100%.
