Second baby hatched is it ok????

They were shipped eggs. I guess that two out of five fertilized is a good hatch rate then if 1 out of twelve is sometimes normal. I'm going to keep them in there for another week. It just breaks my heart everytime I check them:-( At least th etwo that I have are gorgeous?!?!?!??! My husband has never seen a silkioe before and he thinks they are so odd but endearing Chickens are addictive!!!!!

Silkies are cute. If your husband thinks silkies are odd show him pictures of showgirl chickens!

You had a 40% hatch rate! I know many that regularly buy hatching eggs and are happy with 25% averages.
