The first picture was taken 3/21/21 second picture was taken today. For a first timer raising baby turkeys let me tell you they are much more delicate then ducks and chickens but I must say I have had more fun with these babies then my ducklings and chicks.
So far I haven't lost any of my babies. Started with 6 and as of today I still have 6. Thank God.

Yours are very pretty. We just saved 3 of a wild turkey that nested next to our house. all 13 eggs started hatching yesterday. 2 eggs didn't and they apparently weren't fertilized (after candling). Mom took off with 8 of the babies in tow, but left 3 to fend for themselves, since they were not strong enough. Luckily it was a warm 85F day so we waited to see if mommy came back, she didn't. We brought 3 in and put them under the heat lamp and gave them water/food. I think it was natural selection what the mother did. The weakest died this morning. The other two are getting stronger and hungry.
