@darkbluespace our night was very similar to yours. never lost power for more than a moment or so, but the rain was pouring down hard! We live on a creek and part of our yard is flooded

all five of my serama + 4 EE/mix eggs have made it to lock down.
One of the EE eggs seems to have already internally piped and their not due til Wednesday

Let me try that again! That is excellent news! More eggs to lockdown means more chicks!! I wish there was am emoji that was greedily rubbing its hands together.

I think my little silkied rooster is going to be fertilizing eggs soon. He is only 13 or so weeks old, and he doesn't quite know what to do yet, but he believes that he should chase the hen around. She had a perch so she can get away from him. She is also one of the loudest little hens ever... All the time!
