Hey all, getting close to lockdown. I set my eggs on 2/13 at around 10pm. Should i put them in lockdown tomorrow 3/2 at 10pm or does it matter that much? Just curious. This is my first hatch and not sure when I should take them out of the turner.

I don't think it really matters much. I put mine in lockdown today at about 11:00 or so, and I set my eggs on the 12th at about 1:35. Happy Hatching!

My eggs are not due to hatch until Sat or Sun, so at this point nothing is happening. I'll be gone Sat morning & Sun morning, so I hope they oblige and wait until I'm home. I've request to video tape some of the hatchings!

I have pips in 3 or 4 of the eggs, and I hear peeping/chirping, too. I am going out to the chicken coop to see if how the 2 silkie eggs I put under the broody are doing....
