I found our gold lace frizzle polish chicken wandering in a parking lot. Rescued her and found her (saying her because I've assumed it's a hen) with a severely cutoff beak, lots of mites and no meat on her bones.
Treated her for the mites and feed her all she'll eat.
She fits in well with the rest of our crazy crew. :)
Not 100% sure if she's ever laid an egg, and never heard her crow. But she has these large spurs. She also goes after our large rooster. Thankfully he's very docile and doesn't fight her. Plus he's so large he could sit on her and squish her, lol.
What do ya'll think? Do females ever have large spurs? I'm sorry I don't have a picture. I can get one should anyone like to see him/her.
Thanks!

No sign of any male feathering...Saddle, hackle, or sickle feathers. Males would also have solid wing bars.
