So curious what everyone thinks!
(And yes, I know some are likely too young/breeds that can't be sexed for a while.)
Some of them are obvious/we know the answer, so I did include our opinions.

The mixed breeds are our breeding, from TSC birds.
The brown silkie and cuckoo silkie are from a breeder.
The white silkie, sebrights, and oeb are from TSC.

They hate their pics taken, so I feel like some of them are in weird positions.

Pics go:
Week 1, Week 2
Week 3, Week 4
My opinion on their sex.

Please talk to me about them!

I think all of the Silkie x Easter eggers are pullets, with the possible exception of the first one. But they are a touch young to be positive about.

The Easter egger x Easter egger all look like pullets so far, too. But again, it is a bit early for certainty.

Rigatoni is a cockerel.

Gnocchi is a cockerel.

Ditalini, Beez are both looking like pullets.

The Silkies are too young, except Groucho who looks to be a cockerel.

Concrete looks in between to me.

Butter is a pullet.

Stella is young, but I think it is a pullet, based on coloring and thick eye stripe.

This is so reassuring! Thank you for your input! Even if more turn out to be roosters than I thought, at least I know I'm not just being hopeful in thinking a lot of them look like pullets!

Could I be that lucky, to get that many pullets by chance? :love

With the silkie x easter egger mixes- all of them had dark legs as chicks, aside from Surbhi, the suspected cockerel. He is the only one with greenish legs and we suspected cockerel from a young age. I wondered if I had inadvertently created a sex link. Which would be super neat. So curious to see how that pans out!

So happy to hear about Beez too! She had/has me feeling very wishy washy, which likely comes from that OEB shape.

And yeah, the Silkies are definitely too young, especially Sour Cream, but she reminds me of my TSC silkie hen, Klim, and looks decently similar as babies. So crossing fingers for them! We really want more silkie feathers in the flock.

I think the picture really hides how red Concrete's comb already is. He is also constantly chest bumping with the known-roosters, Gnocchi and Rigatoni. But man, it'd be wonderful if he was a pullet because we prefer his color to Butter's.

So interesting how some breeds develop and show their sex so quick (mystic marans), and it totally took over the slow maturing (easter egger)! Gnocchi and Rigatoni were so obvious so early.

Can't wait to see who's what! Thank you so much again!

(I also believe we got our first chick crowing this morning.. couldn't see who it was but it sounded very silly!)

Yeah, the gold Sebright's comb is kind of hard to see in the photo, but if it is getting red and keeps growing, then it probably is a cockerel.

The silkie crosses could be sex linked if the silkie is the father, and a hen with yellow or white skin is the mother. In that case the resulting pullets would have dark skin like the father. I'm a little unclear on how it works because I'm not too proficient on genetics.

Ahh, maybe the sex link theory is scratched! Mom is blue-skinned white silkie, dad is one of my two easter egger roosters. 😆

Here's some updates! I will update with pictures later and update as I figure out their sexes, for follow ups and to help others) 💚

Surbhi- the first silkie/easter egger, is definitely a rooster. He's starting to get the rust spots on the wings.

The two mystic maran/easter eggers, Gnocchi and Rigatoni have started crowing in the morning. Or what I think is them practicing.

The cuckoo silkie cockerel, Groucho, and the gold Sebright, Concrete, are constantly battling it out (chest bumping, pecking, challenging), so I am confident that Concrete is a cockerel!
