sexing ducklings

Is there anyway to do it? Just wondering. Thinking about getting some at TSC.

Not sure... I hear it's hard and assume like chickens it's vent sex or wait till adults.

Depends on the breed. Some can be sexed by markings as chicks, and others have obvious color differences in the bill color. With most breeds it is not obvious and you are back to a guessing game.

vent sexing ducklings and goslings are easier to vent sex then chickens you will clearly see a little tiny hook on the male but you still need to be comfortable with doing it

It is easier to vent sex them, but you have to be very careful doing it. It is very easy to hurt the birds! Especially when they are so tiny.
