One of my chickens likes to stick her head through the fencing, rest her chin, and sleep against the fencing, lol. At first it freaked me out-was she stuck? Was she dead? Nope, just fine, she just likes to sleep that way. She does it all the time.

Any chance she's been getting picked on?
I've seen this or simular 2 or 3 different times. Every time it was someone that gets picked on and its a way to get some rest and protect themselves from getting pecked on the head while doing so.
In the pic it looks like that BR might be looking to take a shot right there.

She's not usually picked on. She'll do this while they are all sunbathing together. But I'll keep an eye out for.
