Hi. Was wondering if it's legal shipping eggs from EU Countries to the UK? And if possible are there any breeders out there willing to ship eggs for the following breeds.

Rain Quail
Gambel Quail
Crested Bobwhites ?

I'm not sure on this, if I were you I would contact customs to see if there are any quarantine procedures etc that need to be complied with. I'm presuming eggs would be classed as a food item.

I'm in Ireland and I can buy eggs from the UK and send them to the UK as there's an open trade boarder agreement and we have the same Quarantine restrictions etc at least that's what I was told when I asked about it.

I know People in the UK who do buy eggs in from mainland Europe for hatching. I also know that you can bring eggs with you as a food item when traveling to and from say France. Best check with DEFRA to know for sure though regarding main land Europe.

Check out this link as there are Quail breeders in Northern Ireland (UK) who may be able to help you source some hatching eggs.
