Should I buy these swans...

There is an ad on Craigslist for a 4 year old Black Swan Breeding pair for $650...is this a good price? Also, are they too old to reproduce. Sorry dont know much about swans. But I do know that they need a pond. How deep does it have to be? I could make a smaller natural one. Or could they swim in our creek? Any help is appreciated!

Pond does not have to be very deep, some of ours go down to our creek.
