Should i feed my turkeys with oranges?

Hello. My turkeys use to forage in the garden everyday, but they don`t have too much green because of the winter right now. So i use to buy cheap fruits from market to feed them. I use apples, pinneaple and oranges(they don`t die for the last option). Is any of this fruits bad for them?

I have read not to feed citrus to poultry. My turkeys like apples for fruit, otherwise mine also like tomatoes, raspberry, strawberries, and cucumber slices.

Citrus affects how they absorbs calcium and other key nutrients. As an occasional treat, it's fine. But they should not be a regular food item.

Thanks for the info, i`ll stop feeding them with oranges. My turkey use to eat the apples and apricots that drop from trees in my orchard in summer time, they love it.
